ZF Services Australia promotes Lowe to MD role

Former company CFO returns to Australia after stint in German aftermarket division

ZF Services Australia has announced the appointment of Mark Lowe as its new managing director.

Joining ZF in November 2011 as chief financial officer, Lowe moved to Germany in 2017 as ZF Aftermarket’s head of controlling – operations.

He moves back to Australia and begins his new tenure as MD on October 1.

“I am thrilled to be taking on the new role and working with the local team again,” Lowe says.

“My existing aftermarket knowledge of and experience with ZF Services Australia will allow me to hit the ground running and to give the company new impetus on the one hand and ensure the necessary continuity in the work on the other hand.

“I am familiar with the aftermarket expectations around part availability and service levels. As a team we will continue the collaborations between ZF and our trusted business partners, to forever exceed their expectations with product and service innovations.”

A qualified chartered accountant, Lowe has previously held commercial and financial roles at consumer products company GWA Group, food company Goodman Fielder and McDonalds Australia.

“A proven leader with broad commercial experience, Mark has strong knowledge of the ZF business and the global aftermarket. This, combined with his existing experience with ZF Services Australia, makes him uniquely qualified for this position,” ZF Asia Pacific regional director Tay Toh Neng says.

Lowe replaces Mark Sookias as ZF Australia’s MD.
