Yojee in the framework for UPS Asia deal

Agreement seeks to bolster technology collaboration

Yojee has won an “innovation framework agreement” with United Parcel Service (UPS) subsidiary UPS Asia Group to facilitate an ongoing technology collaboration.

The listed Australian IT company flying the blockchain flag among other services, says the deal is for 12 month and Yojee may gain fees on any collaborative efforts.

The move follows Yojee’s recent blockchain pilot collaboration, the firms agreed to a broader and longer-term collaboration.

Specific projects may be identified and project terms, such as activities, timing, locations, and project costs, are to be separately agreed between Yojee and UPS project by project.

According to Yojee, the intention of this overarching agreement is to enable both parties to  work together more efficiently “to develop or improve services and products for the UPS operating environment, and identify further opportunities to collaborate in areas spanning technology, software, payments and blockchain”.

“We are excited to extend and broaden our working relationship with UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company, through this overarching innovation partnership which will span technology, software, payments and blockchain,” Yojee MD Ed Clarke says.

“Following on from our successful blockchain pilot, this provides further industry validation and endorsement for Yojee’s market leading capabilities.”
