A workshop will be held in Melbourne next month to keep transport operators updated on a host of topical issues.

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) is holding a road safety compliance workshop in Melbourne on August 7 following the success of recent regional workshops.

Organised by Victoria Police, VicRoads and the Victorian Workcover Authority, the event will cover topics such as heavy vehicle enforcement, chain of responsibility, workforce development and what the first road safety remuneration order means for the industry.

The workshop is free of charge and will be held at the Hume Global Learning Centre in Broadmeadows.

Registration is essential. For more information contact the VTA on 03 9646 8590.
