WiseTech Global appoints additional independent non-executive directors

The logistics software company’s board now comprises four women out of nine members with a wide range of experience

Logistics technology company WiseTech Global has announced the appointment of new independent non-executive directors Lisa Brock and Fiona Pak-Poy to its board.

From February 1, 2024, the two appointments will bring the number of directors on the WiseTech Global Board to nine, including seven independent non-executive directors and four female board positions.

Brock is a chartered accountant and director, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in transport, infrastructure and technology.

Prior to her non-executive career, Brock held a number of senior executive positions at the Qantas Group and Adelaide Airport, as well as at Jetstar Pacific, Star Track Express and Australian Air Express.

She’ll join the audit and risk committee and is expected to become chair of it later in 2024.

Pak-Poy is a professional non-executive director with more than 25 years’ experience across a range of industries, including technology and fintech.

She’s worked at Tyre Payments, Booktopia and MYOB.

Outgoing WiseTech Global chair Andrew Harrison has welcomed the two new board members.

“Their combined extensive experience across technology, logistics, business growth, finance and corporate governance will bring valuable contributions to the board,” Harrison says.

Chair-elect Richard Dammery says: “I’m looking forward to working with Fiona and Lisa, who bring extensive and relevant skills to the board.

“I’m sure they’ll make a significant contribution to WiseTech Global.”
