VTA to host chain of responsibility workshops

The workshops are designed to improve understanding of CoR and fatigue management rules

 

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) is organising chain of responsibility (CoR) awareness and fatigue management workshops this month.

Part of VTA’s training academy workshops on CoR, the workshops will include a range of subjects including, general information, scope, compliance, policies and procedures and future steps.

The CoR awareness workshop will be held from 8am to noon on Wednesday and is open to all industry professionals including drivers, schedulers, operation managers and administrators.

Designed especially for business owners, contract managers, supervisors, rostering and scheduling staff and drivers, the CoR fatigue management workshop will held from 8am to noon on July 27.

The workshops will be presented by supply chain expert David Vaughan, who is former head of compliance for Coles.

Both workshops will be held at the VTA office located at 50 Wirraway Drive, Fishermans Bend.

Ticket for VTA members is $295 per person and $320 per person for non-members. For more details, visit the VTA website.
