A recall notice has been issued by the Volvo Group Australia for three units of their FHE, FME and FMLE Volvo trucks in the year range 2023-2025.
Due to a software issue, the vehicle may accelerate without the pedal being depressed which may result in unintended vehicle movement.
An unintended movement of the vehicle may increase the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Volvo group requesting to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge.
