Mercedes-Benz recalls Vito vans after reports interior trim could be dislodged as part of the airbag deployment

Mercedes-Benz is recalling a number of Vito vans after reports interior trim could be dislodged as part of the airbag deployment.
The recall covers Vito and Viano vans manufactured between February and July 2011.
Mercedes-Benz is concerned the occupants could be struck by the A-pillar trim if the window airbag is deployed during an accident.
Owners of the affected models are asked to contact authorised Mercedes-Benz dealerships to have the A-pillar trims replaced free of charge.
