Mercedes-Benz recalls Vito and Sprinter vans over concerns about fuel leaking from the fuel filter
December 10, 2010
Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific is recalling a number of Vito and Sprinter vans over concerns about fuel leaking from the fuel filter causing a hazard to road users.
As part of the recall campaign, Mercedes-Benz is asking operators of vans fitted with the OM651 engine to contact their local Mercedes-Benz authorised service dealer to have the filters checked, and replaced free of charge if necessary.
The affected vans were built between December 2009 and October 2010. Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific will also be attempting to contact the affected owners.
