Uniseg launches collapsible goods pallet

Australian company unveils collapsible pallets for general and dangerous goods

Western Australian-based Uniseg Products has launched its universal segregation (Uniseg) pallet, a collapsible multi-purpose storage and transportation container designed for freighting general and dangerous goods.

Made in Melbourne, Uniseg says its pallet is certified as a type II segregation device to accommodate hazardous and dangerous goods and non-corrosive thanks to its Polyethylene construction.

With a volume of 850 litres and load capacity of 1.2 tonne, the pallet weighs 100kg and measures 1,003mm wide, 1,008mm high, and 864mm deep.

It drops to 480mm in height when collapsed.

“The pallet has been designed to deliver front-load or top-load capability in seconds to provide flexible ergonomic loading options,” the company says.

“It comes with custom, changeable signage panels and is lockable for securing goods.

“When full, it can be fully enclosed, ready for immediate transportation and when empty it is collapsible, with no loose parts, for cost efficient reverse logistics.”

Uniseg says the product features a bund area at the base to capture 25 litres of free fluids; vents and weather-proofing for outdoor use; and 10 lockable over-centre latches for protection.

It supports a range of tracking options, including bar coding and full RFID/GPS traceability.
