A price reduction strategy has also debuted as UD aims to lift parts availability
UD Trucks has launched a 24-month warranty on genuine UD Truck parts, along with a range of new initiatives to make parts less expensive and more readily available.
The warranty will apply to parts fitted at an authorised UD Trucks workshop and will cover both the part and the labour to fit it.
UD Trucks Australia vice president Mark Strambi says the company had also launched a price reduction strategy which he says will reduce the price of more than 400 components.
“We listen very closely to our customer feedback, and as such we have been working tirelessly with our suppliers and our Japanese colleagues to lower the cost of UD Trucks genuine parts and to increase stock availability,” Strambi says.
“At the dealership level, UD Trucks has improved the stock levels of critical parts across the dealer network, and have been rolling out a comprehensive staff training program to improve vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction even further.”
