UD Trucks and the Commercial Motor Vehicles Group expand network to the Albury-Wodonga region

UD Trucks and the Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) Group have expanded their network to the Albury-Wodonga region.
CMV Truck and Bus, which currently forms the cornerstone of the UD Trucks presence in Victoria with locations in Gippsland, Laverton, Dandenong and Clayton, recently spread its wings to the region.
UD Trucks region president John Bushell says the expansion is a “very natural fit” for both parties.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to expand our customer support base with a proven organisation,” Bushell says.
“The team at CMV are highly knowledgeable and ultra professional and we’re pleased to welcome their Albury-Wodonga staff to the UD Trucks family.”
CMV Truck and Bus Managing Director Paul Crawford believes a bright future lies ahead for the UD Trucks brand in their Albury-Wodonga region.
“We are keen to explore opportunities which can drive customer satisfaction, especially in the area of ongoing service support for UD vehicles,” Crawford says.
“We are currently planning the development of an improved dealership facility which will be more accessible to the highway, have more room for vehicle and trailer parking and generally provide a higher level of customer and staff amenity than the current site.
“By making this commitment, which should be operational by the end of 2011, we believe we can accommodate the expected growth and development which will, no doubt, take place in the greater Albury-Wodonga area in the years ahead.”
