March 27, 2012

TWUSuper has signed on to sponsor the Victorian Transport Association’s cadetship programme aimed at providing young people a pathway into the transport and logistics industry.

VTA CEO Philip Lovel says the support will help young people joining the programme, which provides a Certificate IV in Logistics and a Diploma of Logistics.

“The VTA is very excited and pleased to announce this fantastic new venture supporting young people getting into this industry,” Lovel says.

“We know there are plenty of young people who are interested and just need a guiding hand into this industry.”

Lovel says the 2012 programme began on March 16, which included an induction day and a tour of the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show.

“The transport and logistics industry offers a diverse range of exciting career opportunities that are local, national and global,” he says.
