Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) has announced its Western Australian Director Penne Murphy as its new Vice Chair.

Murphy has held the role of Director at TWAL for over three years and currently operates as the Executive Account Manager – Transport & Logistics for Interlink Insurance Brokers.

“TWAL is excited to announce WA Director Penne Murphy as our new Vice Chair,” a statement reads.

“Penne’s commitment to TWAL’s values makes her an incredible asset to the Board and Penne’s leadership will continue to drive TWAL’s mission forward.

“With Penne in the role of Vice Chair, Transport Women Australia Limited looks forward to a future where women’s contributions to the transport sector are further recognised, celebrated and amplified.”

The announcement of Murphy’s appointment as Vice Chair comes almost three months after the addition of Loretta Hartley, Claudia Foini, Ainsleigh Thomas and Katrina Burns to its board.

Katharina Zink Attana recently resigned from the board in early 2025 after holding a position since 2023 and remains on the TWAL Governance Subcommittee.
