TruckSafe introduces auditor registration

The changes will lay the foundation for the future direction of TruckSafe

Changes to the auditor engagement process of TruckSafe will make the program even stronger going forward.

Under these new changes, auditors will need to be granted approval by the TruckSafe Industry Accreditation Council (TIAC) to be registered before they are eligible to be appointed by TruckSafe for each member audit.

This introduction of auditory registration intends to make the program stronger and safer, aligning with TruckSafe’s vision of being a risk management system that improves the safety and professionalism of trucking operators nationwide.

“These measures, together with our unique approval process, combine to make TruckSafe’s program the most rigorous and robust safety accreditation scheme within the transport industry,” TruckSafe’s Kevin Walsh says.

A new version of the auditor assessment tool will also be released soon in addition to the new registration of auditors.
