March 24, 2011

A Victorian truck driver who was driving with a suspended licence has now had his prime mover taken away.

Victoria Police seized the vehicle after catching the 35-year-old Morwell man driving dangerously.

The man was stopped by police on the Monash Freeway in Glen Waverley last night following calls to police complaining about his behaviour on the road.

After discovering his licence was suspended, the Port Phillip highway patrol extended the deferral for a further six months and impounded the truck.

He is expected to be charged on summons with offences including driving in a dangerous manner.
