TRUCK TECH appointed as Wymap Transport fleet maintenance partner

The agreement sees TRUCK TECH become responsible for maintaining the aviation logistics provider’s Australian transport fleet

Australian and New Zealand aviation logistics transport provider Wymap Group has announced the appointment of TRUCK TECH as its national heavy vehicle fleet maintenance partner in Australia.

The partnership will see TRUCK TECH assume responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and repair of Wymap Transport’s extensive commercial fleet, ensuring consistent safety, compliance and reliability across the organisation’s national operations.

With more than 200 employees strategically positioned near major airports, Wymap Transport operates a diverse fleet of over 170 assets, including prime movers, specialised trailers and single and bogie axle rigid trucks. The fleet plays a critical role in supporting time-sensitive aviation logistics, ground handling and air cargo operations across Australia.

Under the partnership, TRUCK TECH has established a dedicated on-site workshop at Wymap Transport’s Banksmeadow, NSW facility, enabling fast turnaround times and direct access to specialist technical expertise.

The fleet will also be supported by TRUCK TECH’s state-of-the-art workshops across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, in addition to its national network of mobile field service units, providing coverage wherever and whenever vehicles are operating.

Wymap Transport CEO Habib Francis says the appointment reflects the organisation’s focus on reliability, safety and operational consistency across its national footprint.

“As a trusted long-term supply chain partner to global leaders in airlines, airports, cargo and freight forwarding, it is vital that our fleet operates seamlessly across Australia,” he says.

“We need a comprehensive and consistent approach to fleet maintenance, and we are delighted to have found the right partner in TRUCK TECH. Their commitment to the highest standards of safety, their professional technical capability and their understanding of the importance of vehicle uptime were key factors in our decision.”

Headquartered in Chipping Norton, NSW, TRUCK TECH is a leading Australian independent heavy vehicle fleet maintenance provider, delivering proactive, data-driven and safety-led maintenance solutions for fleets of 50 or more heavy vehicles. The company services thousands of trucks, trailers and buses each year for major public and private sector clients.

TRUCK TECH founder and CEO Barry Saad says the partnership demonstrated the growing demand for nationally consistent fleet maintenance solutions among complex logistics operators.

“Fleet managers are increasingly challenged by fragmented maintenance models that deliver inconsistent service levels across states,” he says.

“Wymap operates in a highly time-critical environment, where safety, compliance and uptime are non-negotiable. We’re proud to partner with Wymap Transport to provide a nationally aligned, safety-first maintenance solution that supports their operations today and as they continue to grow.”

The partnership is effective immediately and forms part of Wymap Group’s broader commitment to operational excellence, safety leadership and long-term investment in its transport infrastructure.
