South Australia Police is calling on witnesses regarding the theft of a truck and equipment from two portable offices north of Adelaide.

Offenders broke into two work sites at Bolivar early Monday morning and took a 2005 white Isuzu truck registered as SB13FE.

It had Marelco Hire stickers on the side.

A 60kg metal cage containing flammable liquids, a fridge and a microwave was also stolen from the same site.

The offenders forced open a shipping container, taking heavy duty power tools.

It is believed they used a front-end loader to gain access to the second portable office where further items including another fridge and microwave were stolen.

They also took a large portable generator which was later recovered by police at Kudla.
