TR Group takes the stress out of leasing

Buying and maintaining trucks and trailers is a major financial commitment – one that can tie up valuable capital better spent growing one’s business.

That’s why more transport operators across Australia are turning to TR Group’s Fully Maintained Operating Leases.

“Leasing with TR Group gives you access to the trucks and trailers you need, without the financial strain or risk of ownership,” TR Group National Sales Manager Rick Halliwell says.

“Our Fully Maintained Operating Leases go far beyond simply supplying vehicles — every lease is backed by our experienced team, so you can focus on what matters most: running your business.”

TR Group goes beyond simply supplying vehicles, every truck and trailer is specifically sourced for the customer.

“Our team specifies, sources, and builds vehicles tailored to your exact needs, ensuring they’re efficient, compliant, and ready to perform from day one,” he says.

The lease costs are fixed for the entire term, eliminating unexpected fluctuations in interest rates, parts pricing, maintenance, and labour costs. With no residual value risk at the end of the lease.

TR Group’s preventative maintenance and quick turnarounds keep vehicles on the road, and with its national network and stocked replacement components, repairs are completed fast and with minimal disruption.

Halliwell says if a leased vehicle that’s less than 12 months old and under 200,000 km is unexpectedly off the road, the TR Group will provide a replacement vehicle or downtime credits.

Older vehicles will be provided with credit or a replacement vehicle for any unscheduled downtime beyond 96 hours.

“We’ve also extended our downtime offer to cover accidents. If your leased vehicle is involved in an accident and off the road for a month or more, TR Group can pause your lease payments from the date of the incident,” he says.

“The suspended time will then be added to the end of your lease term. If you need a replacement vehicle during repairs, we’ll supply a rental at the same monthly lease rate as your damaged vehicle.

“Downtime isn’t a promise that breakdowns won’t happen — it’s our commitment to act fast, minimise disruption, and do everything possible to get you back on the road as quickly as we can.”

And if you’re waiting for a new build, TR Group can supply rental “fill-in” trucks or trailers at your lease rate to keep operations running smoothly until new vehicles arrive.

When the lease ends, customers can return the vehicles, extend the lease, or upgrade to brand-new models with no resale headaches, no hidden costs, and no residual risk.

“With TR Group, you’re partnering with people who understand transport,” Halliwell says.

“You’ll get nationwide support, 24/7 assistance, predictable costs, and the confidence that your fleet is being managed and maintained by our highly experienced team who live and breathe this industry.”
