TR Group appoints New Energy and Emissions Reduction Lead

Scott Donnelly has stepped into the newly created New Energy and Emissions Reduction Lead role at heavy vehicle hire company TR Group

Specialist provider of heavy commercial vehicles for short and long-term hire TR Group has appointed Scott Donnelly to the role of New Energy and Emissions Reduction Lead.

TR Group is a heavy commercial vehicle and lease partner with a fleet of over 10,000 trucks and trailers across Australia and New Zealand. It has operated for over 30 years and is backed by a team of over 300 specialists.

Donnelly has over 20 years of experience in the heavy vehicle sector and has spent the past six years with TR Group after initially joining as an Area Maintenance Manager.

A qualified diesel mechanic by trade, Donnelly’s most recent role with TR Group involved monitoring the performance of the company’s fleet of battery-electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles.

He also has extensive experience working directly with customers, industry experts  and original equipment manufacturers.

As part of his new role, he will lead a team of industry specialists who are focused on helping businesses navigate a wide range of options available for zero or low-emission vehicles.

Managing Director of TR Group Andrew Carpenter says Donnelly’s experience in the sustainable vehicle space will ensure strong outcomes not only for TR Group, but for its customers.

“Scott’s extensive experience, combined with his passion for sustainability, positions him perfectly to lead our specialist team.
