Tasmania is the next port of call for the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal, which will pay a visit to Toll

Toll will open its doors to the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal (RSRT) when members of the group head to Tasmania on a whistlestop tour tomorrow.
RSRT Senior Deputy President Lea Drake and tribunal members Steve Hutchins and Tim Squires are planning visits to three firms in one day, starting at 10am, and will finish with Toll Tasmania.
The tribunal will spend one hour at Sea Road Logistics in Youngtown and then head to De Bruyn’s Transport at Mowbray from 12pm to 1pm.
Drake, Hutchins and Squires will be at Toll Tasmania’s Launceston site from 3pm to 4pm.
“The Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal is conducting a series of consultations with the road transport industry on issues relating to remuneration, conditions and related matters affecting road transport drivers, their employers or hirers and participants in the supply chain,” the RSRT says.
Tribunal Commissioner Peter Hampton, Paul Ryan and Hutchins last week visited transport operators and truckstops in Western Australia and South Australia, adding to visits the tribunal has already made to Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
