Toll Remote extends Norfolk Island air freight services

An extended deal with the federal government allows the operator to continue offering consistent air freight services to the island

The federal government has revealed it has extended an arrangement with Toll Remote to provide air freight services to Norfolk Island.

The extension will see Toll Remote continue with the services until June 2026 while the federal government completes an approach to market for longer term arrangements.

This means there’ll continue to be three freight flights per fortnight, which the federal government underwrites to support the continuity of essential and time-sensitive freight to the remote territory.

The federal government says the ongoing availability of freight to the island remains a key priority to help meet demand for critical supplies for residents and businesses.
