Toll NQX Adelaide manager takes Darwin role

Saler to focus on defence, mining, resources and retail opportunities for Toll Group road transport provider

March 14, 2013

Regional management changes continue at Toll NQX, with the road transport provider appointing Darren Saler as its new Northern Territory Sales Manager.

Saler was previously the branch manager of Toll NQX Adelaide and has held other management positions including regional manager of customer supply for Fosters Australia for more than a decade.

Transport industry veteran Robert Edwards, who has had previous experience at TNT, Comet and 1st Fleet, recently took over Saler’s Adelaide role.

Tasked with strengthening and building relationships with existing clients, Saler is responsible for the management of sales activity and growth for the Darwin depot, which is near East Arm Wharf
and the Adelaide-Darwin rail corridor.

“The location provides Toll NQX with exciting opportunities to grow and I’ll also be looking to attract new business within key industries such as defence, mining, oil and gas and retail,” he says.

Toll NQX’s customers include Rio Tinto, Carlton United Breweries and Xstrata.
