Toll and Sendle reach delivery deal

Sendle’s door-to-door network has reached new heights with the addition of Toll as a partner


Parcel delivery company Sendle has formed a partnership with global logistics giant Toll to expand its delivery network.

Focusing on door-to-door deliveries for small businesses, Sendle offers an online booking system for customers and then provides parcel tracking and support, parcel returns and signatures on delivery.

With agreements already in place with Fastway and Couriers Please, the new deal with Toll means the company can now utilise over 3000 vehicles to deliver over 70 million packages annually.

“Toll completes Sendle’s delivery network, such that we can now deliver packages Australia-wide at a flat rate, for less than it costs to go to the post office,” Sendle CEO James Chin Moody says.

“The power of this partnership with Toll lies in its fleet, coverage, experience and reputation,” he says.

“We’re looking forward to bringing our technology and understanding of what small businesses need when it comes to parcel delivery.”

For Toll, the move provides access to new customers.

“Today’s partnership with Sendle allows us to provide the Toll experience and delivery service to a large number of small business customers, who we haven’t been able to work with in the past,” head of Toll consumer delivery, Luke Condon says.

Sendle’s pricing structure provides flat rates to 17,000 suburbs around Australia, with four size options.

Same city shipping is charged at $9.75 regardless of size. National shipping charges range from $10.75 to $24.75.
