NSW Police and the Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) will broaden the attention of their truck safety activities to include those using the Pacific Highway.
While police say Operation National Route One, which will run from March to June, is aimed at all drivers – “focusing on the enforcement of speeding, drink-driving and other unsafe driving behaviours such as fatigue” − special mention is made of heavy vehicles.
