Austrans sparks ANZPAA drug-driving concern
The near-doubling of drug-drivers in trucks caught during last month’s Operation Austrans has rung alarm bells at the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA).
Though this year’s figure of 140 is just a fraction of the 4,828 tested, it is more than double 2010’s figure of 61 and almost twice last year’s 73, while the numbers tested fell from last year’s 6,296.

SA Police in CoR call to truck drivers
South Australian Police Inspector Andrew Thiele has made a plea to truck drivers who feel they have been pressured to drive unsafely to contact police.
