Swisslog Asia Pacific says it will now include PAS technology as part of its solution portfolio.
The PAS proprietary system is based on PowerStor, a cart-based automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) used for multiple deep storage of palletised loads.
PowerStor aims to provide automated storage and high throughput for large quantities in high-density warehouses and Swislog insists it is effective in existing, space restricted or odd-shaped facilities.
“We foresee continuous increase in demand of warehouse and distribution automation in our region,” Rudolf Hausladen, who leads of Swisslog Asia-Pacific’s Warehouse & Distribution Solutions Division, says.
“The PowerStor system will provide us with a competitive extension to our automation solutions portfolio, which enables us to offer comprehensive pallet handling technologies in existing and new market segments, further enhancing our leading position in the region.”
