SRV Road Freight has announced it has acquired food and beverage transport company BEVTRANS, with the acquisition set to be integrated into company operations over the next 90 days.
“SRV recognised the strategic fit between our organisations and the significant value this will create for both parties,” the company released in a statement.
“Offering our innovative solutions and integrating our resources and expertise will enhance our market position and provide substantial benefits to customers.”
SRV Road Freight was founded in 1997 by current owner and General Manager of Operations Errol Cosgrove.
The company specialises in the transport of general freight on Australia’s eastern seaboard and is headquartered between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Yatala, Queensland.
The company says the acquisition will further employment opportunities, with the integration of BEVTRANS to commence immediately.
“The successful integration effort will be driven by management and operational staff to deliver a high level of service and results to our customers,” the company statement continues.
“Company leaders and drivers will be visiting operational sits and DTCs for a smooth integration.
“[You will see] new Kenworth trucks and Vawdrey trailers over the next 90 days with thew new BEVTRANS logo.
“This is an important day for the SRV Group as we can take our safety, reliability and value to the next level along the eastern seaboard.”
