Bidding for the transport giant’s remaining assets to start November 6

Following the collapse of logistics giant Scott’s Refrigerated Logistics earlier this year, buyers have been eagerly awaiting the chance to snatch up some deals

The Gordon Brothers Ritchie Bros. Alliance (GBRB Alliance) were exclusively appointed to sell Scott’s remaining fleet assetsback in May

Through Iron Planet, bidding will open November 6 while the official auction date will be held online on November 14.

A total of 220 units comprising of 130 refrigerated trailers, 78 prime movers, 8 truck parts and attachments, two tautliners and two fuel and product tanks will be up for grabs.

Stand out items include a 2020 Kenworth K200 Aerodyne 6×4, a plethora of 2017-2018 Freightliners, and plenty of GTB’s.

All stock islocated throughout Australia at Ritchie Bros. seven yards, with GBRB Alliance urging customers to ‘inspect onsite, bid online’.

Scott’s Refrigerated Logistics was one of the country’s biggest suppliers of cold storage and refrigerated transport, with major contracts in place with large supermarket chains including Coles, Woolworths and Aldi.

The logistics company was placed into voluntary administration in late February, disrupting the sector.
