Due to a software issue with the Electronic Management System EMS, the vehicle may release air pollutants that exceed the standards set in Australian Design Rule.
There is no safety hazard related to this recall and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.
Scania Australia will contact the owners of the affected vehicle, and they will be asked to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have their software updated, free of charge.
