SAP Australia New Zealand reaches agreement for business consulting company Oakton
SAP and Oakton announce new vertical industry and government partnership

Business software provider SAP Australian New Zealand (SAP ANZ) has come to an agreement for business consulting company Oakton to provide SAP architecture and consulting services to clients looking to introduce new SAP capability or develop existing SAP investments and infrastructure.
Oakton’s range of SAP consulting services will cover business process improvement and organisation change management, enterprise architecture roadmaps and data management solutions.
The consulting firm says it has appointed one of SAP Australia’s founding members, Sean Mathieson, to manage and drive its SAP capability nationally.
Mathieson will also ensure Oakton leverages its extensive experience in the SAP Business Objects suite to offer customers business intelligence solutions.
Oakton Chief Executive Neil Wilson says the alliance will provide “considerable benefit” to SAP’s large commercial and customer base in vertical industries.
“Oakton is aligned with SAP’s growth initiatives and we expect to grow SAP’s customer base in vertical industries, by supporting existing customers as well as working with new customers,” Wilson says.
SAP ANZ Chief Executive Tim Ebbeck says Oakton’s experience and reputation for delivering business focuses IT outcomes will provide a “compelling value” proposition in the market.
