Ritchie Bros. makes new international leadership appointments

Global asset management and disposition company Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has made a pair of key international executive appointments, with Ghislaine Duijmelings and Duncan Ainscough appointed to the company.

Duijmelings has been appointed as General Manager for the International Region, while Ainscough has stepped into the role of Head of International Sales.

Ritchie Bros. is an RB Global company and offers customers end-to-end solutions for buying and selling used heavy equipment, trucks and other assets.

It already has a strong presence in Australia, but RB Global CEO Jim Kessler says the appointments will help the company succeed in its key EMEA and APAC growth regions.

“These key appointments align with the company’s commitment to expanding market reach, strengthening relationships with clients and partners in the industry and accelerating growth across the EMEA and APAC regions.

Duijmelings brings over a decade of experience in the industrial auction sector. Previously she was Managing director at major European online machinery auction platform Surplex GmBH where she saw strengthening across 16 key European markets.

At RB Global she will lead the overall international plan for the Ritchie Bros. and develop and leverage and leverage a framework to evaluate top-line potential and profit margins.

Ainscough will bring over 30 years of industrial auction and asset management experience into his role and has previously held senior leadership roles at Gordon Brothers and Liquidity Services.

He has led large scale multinational teams and asset disposition projects across over 30 countries and delivered strategic capital solutions for major global corporations.
