Unique Micro Design’s on-line shop now offers small quantities or samples of LF, HF and UHF RFID tags.

The Australian based automatic data capture company has been involved in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) since 2001 in both the supply of products (RFID tags and Readers), as well as developing engineering ICT solutions.

UMD Managing Director and Chief Solutions Architect Geoffrey Ramadan says the starting point in developing many RFID solutions is in the appropriate selection of RFID tags during the proof of concept stage.

“Given the many factors that affect the performance of RFID tags, it is essential that RFID tags be tested in their intended environment,” he says.

“Our intention is to support users, and industry, in the supply of sample tags for such testing. We also expect our range to grow over time.”

Unique Micro Design provides automatic data capture products and solutions out of its Clayton, Victoria office using a range of technologies.

These include:

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

Barcoding

Mobile Computing

Point of Service

Wireless infrastructure

Payment, technologies.
