Traffic diversions and closures will be imposed from May 21 on traffic on the Tullamarine Freeway due to repair works

May 18, 2011

Essential repair works to the Tullamarine Freeway Bridge over Marker Road in Melbourne will begin later this week.

The works will commence on May 21 and will go over a period of six days from 10pm to 6am.

The Melbourne Airport off-ramp on the Tullamarine Freeway and Marker Road will be closed during construction.

Slow lane closures and speed reductions to 40km/h on the freeway in both directions will also be in place.

Detours will be in place via the Mickleham Road off-ramp for city-bound traffic to Melbourne Airport, VicRoads says.
