Trade Minister Tim Nicholls yesterday announced the Governor in Council had approved Mark Brodie as the ports chairman for Gladstone and William Moller as the ports chairman for Far North Queensland.

Moller is a Marino Moller Lawyers partner and
a Director on the State Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland Limited (CCIQ).

Brodie is Brodie Group Managing Director and the Brodies Mealmakers founder. He is also National Retail Association Chairman, and has held positions on Brisbane Marketing and Southbank Corporation boards.

“The new Chairs will work with the Premier, myself and respective Portfolio Ministers to implement the LNP Government’s agenda,” Nicholls says.

“These appointments add to the earlier changes made to the Boards of Queensland’s GOCs (Government Owned Corporations) aimed at ensuring that the businesses are run effectively, efficiently and with due regard to taxpayers funds.”
