The cargo division of Australia’s national carrier, Qantas Freight is set to take its services to thousands more freight forwarders across the globe through a new collaboration with cargo.one.
Qantas Freight operates over 20 cargo handling terminals across Australia and Los Angeles and is primed to expand its freight capacity with the opening of Western Sydney Airport, which is set to open in 2026.
The new airport is expected to increase Sydney’s freight capacity by 33 per cent.

Through its partnership with cargo.one, Qantas Freight customers and now discover, quote and book general cargo with Qantas Freight’s network connecting North American hubs to Australia and New Zealand.
cargo.one will also offer bookings on what is known as the “Kangaroo Route” from the UK to Australia.
Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one Moritz Claussen says he’s looking forward to building on the existing partnership between the two companies.

“Having supported its teams over the past year to commence its external digital sales, we look forward to bringing more Qantas Freight capacity live and working to further extend its digital market share.”
Forwarders using cargo.one can now book Qantas Freight capacity for general cargo up to 10,000kg on flights from major US cities including New York and Los Angeles and from London to destinations in Australia, New Zealand and other ports in the region.
Executive Manager of Qantas Freight Igor Kwiatkowski says partnering with cargo.one is a crucial step in continuing to expand the international digital capabilities of the iconic airline.

More Qantas Freight markets, routes and products will be added to cargo.one in the coming months.
