August 19, 2011

As any workshop manager knows, checking the state of heavy vehicle batteries can be a big task and requires equipment able to handle not just different voltages but also high ampages.

Projecta’s new 1000A Carbon Pile Battery Tester is designed to make the testing of large batteries easy and efficient.

Capable of performing variable tests on 6, 12 and 24 volt lead acid batteries to 2,000CCA or 320Ah, the tester comes with large meters displaying battery voltage and load simultaneously.

Solid die cast brass battery terminals clamps are fitted to 1400mm leads providing the highest level of conductivity and the carbon pile test load is adjustable from 0 to 1000Amps, while a test alert buzzer is also fitted to sound after 15 seconds.

The BLT300 Projecta Carbon Pile Tester comes with a twelve months warranty and is now available from automotive and transport outlets throughout Australia.
