FPT Industrial and Mitsubishi Fuso recently celebrated fifteen years of collaboration last month at the BEYOND Iveco event in Turin, Italy.

FPT Industrial, which is part of the Daimler Truck group, began producing engines for Mitsubishi Fuso in 2010 and since then has made over 500,000 F1C engines for the company to use in its commercial vehicles.

The anniversary was celebrated by Iveco Group powertrain business unit president Sylvain Blaise, who presented a commemorative plaque to Daimler Truck Asia head of procurement Parthasarathy Thota.

Both parties say they were very pleased with the partnership.

"Our relationship with FUSO perfectly represents our partnership vision, which involves sharing values, following the same path and pursuing the same goal," Blaise says.

"FUSO and FPT Industrial are heading in the same direction, enabling each other to go beyond ‘just quality and performance’ and to aim for excellence while making a positive impact on our customer and society."

Thota says: "FPT Industrial has been an invaluable partner for Mitsubishi Fuso for many years, the brand shares the commitment of providing reliable, efficient, and safe products to our global customers, and we look forward to continuing our close collaboration."
