Modern Transport Engineers’ Modern Ejector trailer

Modern Transport Engineers (MTE) Australia supplies a wide range of trailer types across the country, with its latest addition – the Modern Ejector – making spreading of loads quicker and easier

MTE Australia, based in the Brisbane suburb of Tingalpa, is the Australian subsidiary of New Zealand’s MTE, set up as an expansion of its parent company in 2009.

MTE Australia, run by director Mike Ratcliffe, builds an extensive range of trailers for the Australian transport market, covering everything from tilt decks and semi tippers to flat tops, b-trains and linkwings. MTE is one of the largest suppliers of specialised transport trailers in Australasia, priding itself on building modern trailers that meet a diverse client base’s requirements.

Modern Ejector

“Our newest addition to our fleet is the Modern Ejector, which comes in a varied range,” says Ratcliffe.

“These trailers are fitted with the latest push-off technology that allows for the load to be pushed out while the truck is moving, to assist the spreading of the load.”

Available in 6×4 truck, 8×4 truck, four and five-axle trailer and semi configurations, Modern Ejector Technology provides a safer way to unload and spread material by removing the need to raise tipper trailers – preventing the striking of overhead obstructions and the risk of tipping over.

With the Modern Ejector, as material is pushed out of the trailer internally, operators can spread on angled terrain and even when driving downhill.

Flexibility

MTE Australia strives to stay ahead of the pack with innovative trailer designs and flexible options.

“Our linkwings run outboard drums for better servicing of trailers, and we were the first to design the sliding rub plate,” says Ratcliffe.

“We maintain strong relationships with our clients and pride ourselves on providing a product that can be relied on.”

With 300 staff across Australia and New Zealand, MTE Australia also provides maintenance services and spare parts. The company is currently working on making spare parts for a variety of trailer makes available in an online shop and its Tingalpa workshop specialises in servicing and maintenance along with refurbishing old trailers to look like new.

No matter where you are based, MTE can supply its trailers across Australia. For more information, visit: www.modtrans.com.au
