EV charging company Tritium appoints new COO

The new COO will look to expand Tritium’s push towards electrification

Global developer and manufacturer of direct current fast chargers for electric vehicles Tritium has announced the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Glen Casey will become Tritium’s next COO after serving as the company’s interim director of global operations since May 2021.

With more than two decades executive experience across automotive, energy and engineering manufacturing, Casey has held senior leadership roles prior to his new role with Tritium.

“Tritium requires an experience operations leader with a proven track record who can successfully navigate manufacturing complexity and enable the company to meet strong market demand,” Tritium CEO Jane Hunter says.

“With Glen on board, we gain a leader who has been with the company for nearly a year and in that time hit production records.”

Casey will oversee company-wide operational performance, global supply, product distribution and customer support services for Tritium as it continues manufacturing fast chargers for EVs.

The new facility is expected to employ more than 500 people over five years and produce more than 10,000 DC fast charger units per year, with the potential to produce approximately 30,000 units per year at peak capacity.
