DAF announces technician of the year

DAF crowned its technician of the year in early April

Paccar Australia DAF has crowned its DAF technician of the year for 2022 after picking from a shortlist of five technicians across the country.

Paccar Australia’s DAF branch named Andrew Patterson of Kenworth DAF Melbourne as the DAF technician of the year.

Paccar Australia chief engineer Noelle Parlier and Paccar aftersales manager Richard Saville presented the 2022 award to Patterson and congratulated him on his win and performance.

The search for the award began in October 2021, as all service technicians at DAF dealerships across Australia were invited to participate in the competition that aimed to reward the best dealers across the country.

The event consisted of five practical assessments measuring technical skills, product knowledge, engine expertise and general professionalism.
