An Isuzu N-Series model

Isuzu Australia is recalling certain N Series light-duty trucks due to a manufacturing issue with a hose in the automatic transmission.

The defect may cause fluid to leak from the transmission, which could result in a loss of motive power.

"A loss of motive power while in use could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users," the recall notice reads.

The recall affects more than 300 model-year 2018-2021 N Series units, all variants included.
