E-Max and FleetLogix gain TCA certifications

Approval given for smart OBM and RIM systems

Transport Certification Australia (TCA) has approved products from industry IT firms E-Max and FleetLogix.

E-Max was type-approved to offer its smart on-board mass measurement system, the Air-Weigh LoadMaxx Smart OBM.

It joins the existing Category A type-approval that E-Max already holds.

“We are extremely proud of the achievement of receiving a Smart OBM system (Category B),” E-Max MD Phillip Carthew said.

“We would like to thank all our customers for two decades of support, along with our partner Air-Weigh in achieving this milestone in our history.”

Carthew also endorsed the TCA’s approach.

“We are also thankful to have a long-term partnership with everyone at TCA and look forward to continuing that in the coming years,” he said.

“We see great benefit and productivity gains working with TCA and all heavy transport road users.

“These new road access programs not only increase productivity but make it safer for all road users.”

Meanwhile, FleetLogix basked in its road infrastructure management (RIM) app’s approval.

“Offering RIM as a new service demonstrates our flexibility to adapt new products and services to suit client requirements, and we’re very grateful to be registered as a provider through the National Telematics Framwork,” FleetLogix technical director Chris Scheffer said.
