Bapcor unleashes WANO on Japanese parts market

Group focuses range of operation under the one banner

 

Bapcor Group rationalises an array of its Japanese truck parts suppliers under the national WANO banner.

The new entity encompasses HIM Spares, Don Kyatt Queensland, He Knows Truck Parts, I Know Parts, Japanese Trucks Australia, Japanese Commercial Spares and Truck Parts Dubbo.

“These outstanding businesses now combine into one as WANO, combining more than half a century of industry experience supported by the automotive aftermarket resources and customer service capabilities of the Bapcor Group,” it says.

“All of the highly specialised businesses that form WANO have a strong heritage and proven track record in the rapid sourcing and fast supply of quality Japanese and Asian commercial vehicle parts.

“Now together as the one national and highly specialised commercial vehicle parts provider.

“This one stop national parts destination provides Australia’s most comprehensive range of parts to suit Japanese and Asian commercial vehicle makes and models.”

Services include in-house workshops, external service agents, panel shops, cooling system specialists, auto electricians and tuners for commercial vehicles.

Items able to be sourced include driveline, body, suspension, chassis, electrics, cooling, lubrication and consumables.

Operators of Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, UD, Toyota, Nissan and LDV in light commercial classes are said to be all covered.
