ZF elevates Wilson to regional leadership team

HR business partner’s promotion follows two years of initiatives success

ZF Services Australia is expanding its Oceania Leadership team with the inclusion of HR business partner Alana Wilson.

Since starting with ZF Services Oceania in November 2018, Wilson has led the HR department, instigating a diversity policy and a more modern flexible-working policy, which, the company says, contributed to the business adapting exceptionally well during the challenges of 2020.

Wilson joins MD Mark Lowe, chief financial officer Martin McKinley, head of IAM Oceania Darren Leyshon, head of OES Oceania Gary Bain, technical services manager Shane Trenbath and head of marketing, communications & strategy oceania Stefanie Fischer on leadership team.

“Alana’s efforts since joining ZF Services Australia two years ago have been outstanding, with the difficulties presented throughout last year placing a special emphasis on the HR function of the company,” Lowe says.

“Thanks to Alana’s contribution, we have grown as a desirable workplace, which in turn has seen us continue to attract top-class employees and keep turnover low.

“All of the members of the leadership team bring their own unique insight and perspective, which is something we have embraced in our expansion in recent years.

“We congratulate Alana, and welcome her to the team.”

Wilson joined ZF Services Australia from 20 years at Balmain Leagues Club where she held roles including employee relations manager.

“I am very excited to take on the additional responsibility and be able to contribute to our local leadership team, ensuring we continue to be an employer of choice,” she says.
