Fleet management firm Eroad has enlisted Tim Hogan as its chief technology officer.

The NZ-listed firm, with presence in Australia and North America, notes Hogan has extensive experience in the technology sector, with a particular focus on software as a service (SaaS) and a "track record of successful platform and revenue growth".

He has held key leadership roles at major global companies including Warner Bros. and TiVo as well as founding a successful technology company.

"We look forward to Tim joining us and leading our technology function as we continue to expand Eroad’s platform to become the global leader in vehicle telematics" Eroad CEO Steven Newman says.

Hogan lays claim to launching and localising technology services in 11 markets around the world.

In his most recent role as chief innovation officer for Webedia Entertainment, Hogan expanded the partner ecosystem and developed new strategies for data commercialisation.

"We are very pleased to add Tim’s significant leadership and technical capability and global experience to drive Eroad’s technology offering," Newman adds.

"Tim has been key to the successful growth of a number of globally recognised entertainment technology brands. As we accelerate our growth strategies, Tim’s experience will be invaluable.
