Four appointments in Hino executive restructure

Truckmaker says organisational change focuses on two strategic areas

Hino Australia has shifted four executives around in an organisational restructure.

The changes are said to reflect a focus on two strategic areas of its business – innovation and enhancing operational efficiencies – in line with its customer-focused business plan.

The internal appointments see Carley Aherns made the marketing manager, Dean Simeon the national dealer manager, Sergio Bonvini the specialised vehicle manager and Michael Foukkare the technical training manager

“Reflective of the ongoing and critical importance of communications to customers and dealers, Carley Aherns has been promoted to the recently-established positon of manager, marketing,” Hino says in a short communique.

“In another move, Dean Simeon has been appointed to the newly created role of national dealer manager after almost five years working in field sales management roles supporting some of Australia’s largest Hino dealers.”

To enhance operational efficiency and customer service, a key element of the Hino Advantage program, the Hino Customer Care Centre, is now managed by the Product Support division, alongside other business solutions including Capped Price Service and Hino Genuine Parts.

Therefore, “to support future initiatives within the Product Support division, Sergio Bonvini has been appointed to the new position of Specialised Vehicle Manager and Michael Foukkare has been promoted to the role of Technical Training Manager”.
