‘Biggest-capacity combination of trailers’ company has distributed
The Drake Group, agent for Italian manufacturer Cometto, has presented its massive MSPE Evo3 70t self-propelled electronic modular trailers to the Australian naval industry.
A deal was closed for Commonwealth-owned Australian Naval Infrastructure to take delivery of 16 units, providing six axles of carrying capacity each, to haul future-generation surface ships and submarines.
Drake Group says the order includes two 368kW power packs, providing more than 6,000 tonnes of payload capacity, and the ability to reach a total capacity of 10,000 tonnes.

It adds that the deal represents the company’s “commitment to providing transport solutions for every possible load”, with this particular one being the biggest-capacity combination of trailers it has been involved with.
