Truckline appoints first national sales manager

Buswell takes inaugural role following senior Iveco position

Truckline has appointed Geoff Buswell to the newly created role of national sales manager.

A 20-year industry veteran, Buswell joins the truck and trailer parts retailer from fellow CNH Industrial brand Iveco, where he was dealer channel director, responsible for Iveco dealers Australia-wide.

Truckline GM Mick Henderson says the creation of the national sales manager role is the next step following a two year period of growth.

“We’ve seen the establishment of our Western Australia product distribution centre at Welshpool and the development of new stores at Bunbury and Eagle Farm,” Henderson says.

“Additionally, we’ve doubled the number of website users since our ecommerce launch last year and improved the efficiency of our internal processes.”

“Geoff’s appointment will allow us to consolidate on and build upon these efforts to ensure continued benefits to our customers.”

Buswell will be responsible for growing the sales of Truckline nationally through the company’s 23 stores and online retail channels.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help drive the next phase of growth of Truckline,” he says.

“During my time at Iveco I gained valuable industry insights and market experience that will prove useful in my new role.

“I am excited to bring a fresh outlook to the position and to build on the success of Mick and the team.”
