PacLease launches in WA, NT and Tasmania

Rental option extended across CJD network in new deal

Paccar will launch its truck rental and leasing operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania after signing a new deal with the CJD Group.

PacLease Australia director Olen Hunter said the two companies had been working together for 34 years.

“With 13 locations across the country PacLease now has more full service truck rental and leasing locations than any other provider in Australia, which allows us to deliver excellent service to our ever growing customer base,” he said.

CJD managing director Alan Barnett said the company was excited to start offering Paccar truck rentals to its customers alongside full service leasing and contract maintenance products.

“We see these types of value added services as a strategic addition to our portfolio,” he said.

“Our clients will be able to rent Kenworth and DAF trucks through our PacLease operation or we can help them customise a long-term full service lease to suit their specific requirements.”

Barnett said he expected to start leasing operations immediately from the company’s Perth base, at 787 Abernethy Rd, Forrestfield.

This will be followed by an expansion into Tasmania and the Northern Territory in the coming months, he said.

The Tasmanian bases will be at CJD Kenworth DAF Hobart – 56 Crooked Billet Drive, Bridgewater – and CJD Kenworth DAF Launceston – 401 Westbury Road Prospect Vale.

The Northern Territory bases, which also recently commenced as the new Isuzu truck dealer, are at 1 Toupein Rd, Yarrawonga – in Darwin – and at 8-10 Cameron St, Braitling – in Alice Springs.
