Loss of power concern is sleeve detaches
Almost 1,400 Fiat Ducato 290/295 2.3 F1A E6 vans are the subject of a recall.
The notice warns that the intercooler sleeve may detach from the throttle body, causing an engine warning light to be illuminated and a loss of power to the vehicle.
FCA Australia will notify owners of affected vehicles who can then schedule a service booking with their nearest Fiat Professional dealer,” the notice reads.
“The dealer will replace the existing metal band with a new one that has features to ensure the hold between intercooler and throttle body.”
